brad griggs - Youth Throwing & Early Pitching Development

We are excited to spotlight Brad Griggs—Youth Throwing & Early Pitching Development Specialist at 765 Sports Lab!

A 2011 graduate of Kokomo High School and All-Conference NCC pitcher, Brad went on to pitch at the collegiate level. Raised in a baseball family, he learned the game from some of Indiana’s premier instruction leaders, including the late Jay Lehr out of Roundtripper.

Brad brings 12 years of coaching experience to our staff, including 9 years as the Kokomo Middle School Head Coach, Head Coach of the 14U Kokomo Marucci Prospects, and leader of the 2017 11U Cal Ripken Northern Indiana State Championship team. Off the field, Coach Griggs works within Kokomo Schools supporting students with ASD and other diagnoses, and has served as a YMCA youth mentor and South Side YBL manager. At 765 Sports Lab, he focuses on foundational throwing mechanics, early pitching development, and building strong athletic habits.

“My goal is to bring Kokomo and the surrounding areas of Howard County a great program to not only develop players’ skills in the game of baseball, but also help the athletes grow into respectful, hardworking, and dedicated individuals. Baseball is the best game to teach because it directly correlates to the game of life. I cannot wait to see the community come together with this incredible new facility.”
